Paint Polishing is the only way to fix paint defects such as Wash Scratches / Marring or Etching caused by washing the vehicle improperly. This is the reason why if you care about the vehicle, you would want to have it washed properly / correctly and you would never take it to an Automated Car Wash.

Paint Polishing restores the shining gloss of the paint. The condition of the paint will determine how glossy it is. No amount of Wax or Sealant will improve the gloss of the vehicle if it is terrible to begin with. This is hard to accept but if you understand what that means, it makes sense. Many still believe Wax or Sealant will fix paint defects.

How To Polish The Paint:

Before Polishing:

  1. Wash the vehicle thoroughly with Rinseless Solution (diluted with water, of course)
  2. Double the Claying/Decontaminating Dilution Ratio printed on the label of Rinseless Solution to be safe
  3. Work on Glass first if the Surface Prep Mitt is new.
  4. Repeat panel to panel until you are done with the whole vehicle

Test Spot:

  1. Apply 3-4 small dots on to the Polishing Foam Pad
  2. Cord over your shoulder and run the machine on the paint at speed 4. Do it on a 2×2 section with very slow arm speed. VERY SLOW.
  3. Wipe off the residue with a damped microfiber towel for easy removal then follow up with a dry microfiber towel.
  4. Observe the result if it is good enough or you need to be aggressive with compounding the paint first before polishing. Compounding cuts more than Polishing.

*With Fast Correcting Cream, you can choose to not polishing it as it is a compound that finishes down to a polish. With that said, the finish will look a lot better with Polishing.*
